Our Services

An important message from Reverend Rebecca, Jayne and Tony about Services in Church:

On Tuesday morning (5th January) we met with Rev Claire following Monday night’s announcement by the Government that England will once more move into lockdown. While public worship is still permissible, we have informed Bishop Julian that we have temporarily suspended worship in church. We will take this time to focus on online worship and increasing our pastoral outreach.

The new variant of Covid-19 and its increased frequency of transmission and our concern for the safety and well-being of those in our parish have prompted this decision.  We will, of course, keep this situation under constant review keeping everyone’s health and well-being at the forefront of the reviews.

We will be trying different formats of online worship over the next few weeks so please be patient as we experiment and find various ways to express our worship and praise. We will also spend time looking at how we can develop our worship and inclusivity for those who don’t have access to the internet.

We are sure that you will appreciate that this has been a difficult and heartfelt decision to take and was not without prayerful consideration for everyone.

We are still uploading a weekly Sunday morning service so please visit our YouTube channel to join in with this service, and to see all our previous online services. Our Service Sheet for A Sunday Reflective Service: for worship at home is available here.
