Revd Catherine Haydon

I’m the Assistant Priest at St Paul’s and I love serving here with such a wonderful team. I served my curacy not too far away in Morecambe, and come from Blackpool originally. Before ordination I was a secondary school teacher, teaching Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics, and did my first degree at what was St Martin’s so it’s great to be back in Lancaster again after 15 years away.

I live with my terror terrier Stanley who keeps me on my toes, and in my spare time I love to cook and read. I enjoy travelling too, exploring new places and cultures, and try and get away as often as possible.

God is doing some really exciting things here in Scotforth and it’s a great privilege to be involved with all that is happening. I look forward to seeing where God is leading us over the next few years.
