Hiring our Spaces

We have a number of different rooms available to hire either on a regular or casual one-off basis at St Paul’s, the details of which you can access through the ‘Our Spaces’ button on the left hand menu.

All bookings are now taken through ‘Hallmaster’ which you can access through the ‘Calendar and Booking’ link on the left hand menu.  The system will not allow you to make a booking if there isn’t availability but all bookings are provisional until approved by an Administrator.

If you have any questions about which space is better suited to your needs and requirements then our Administrators are happy to help and advise you – the office opening hours and contact information is available through the ‘Contact Us’ page.

We are extremely fortunate in that the National Lottery Community Funding, has worked with us, and other charitable organisations [including The Garfield Weston Foundation, The Harold and Alice Bridges Charitable Trust] , on many projects in our Parish Hall over the last 10 years in order to improve facilities. This work has included a new kitchen, a new roof, a new heating system downstairs, new windows downstairs, a new ceiling in the main hall and our latest project of replacing the skylights in the roof of the building and updating electrical work.  These improvements have made our facilities a welcoming place for everyone who visits the hall – whether in a work capacity running a group or the many people who attended groups and functions here.

St Paul's Church, Scotforth

In the very best sense, St Paul’s Scotforth thrives in being a parish church deeply rooted in our local area. While we are the historical cornerstone of Scotforth, we are challenged prayerfully to meet the changing spiritual and social needs of those in our community. The recent pandemic has made us question who we are as a church and what type of church we want to be, as the living, breathing Body of Christ here and now. We look forward to worshipping God, growing in faith, and serving the community in the weeks, months, and years to come. Please let us know how we can serve you to the glory of God so that we can partner in the mission of ministry of our Church.
