Greetings. I am delighted to be the Vicar of St Paul’s Scotforth parish. This a dynamic and lively parish with different styles and places of worship both at Scotforth and our worshipping community based in Hala. I grew up in Canada and moved to the United Kingdom in 2007 to pursue my doctoral studies in Edinburgh. It was there that I met my husband Anderson Jeremiah, who is also a priest and an academic at Lancaster University. We have two young daughters and have family spread throughout the world in Canada, Germany, Australia and India. We look forward to flourishing in ministry along with the family of St Paul’s in the years to come.

In the very best sense, St Paul’s Scotforth thrives in being a parish church deeply rooted in our local area. While we are the historical cornerstone of Scotforth, we are challenged prayerfully to meet the changing spiritual and social needs of those in our community. The recent pandemic has made us question who we are as a church and what type of church we want to be, as the living, breathing Body of Christ here and now. We look forward to worshipping God, growing in faith, and serving the community in the weeks, months, and years to come.
