Announcement about the next Vicar of St Paul’s:
Following an extremely rigorous application and interview process last week, we are delighted to be able to announce that Revd Catherine Haydon will be licensed as our Vicar on Sunday 14th September at 7.30pm by Bishop Jill. In the meantime, Catherine will continue as our Associate Priest but will, obviously, be taking some time off in August/September. This is to give Catherine time to move into the Vicarage and prepare to take on her new role. Please continue to pray for Catherine as she prepares to begin this new chapter in her life.

Prayer for Revd Catherine as she prepares to become the next Vicar of St Paul’s:
God our Father, we give our heartfelt thanks for the appointment of Catherine as our new Vicar here at St Paul’s. We pray for her as she prepares to move into the Vicarage and all that involves. Send us all your Holy Spirit at this time of change to fill us with vision and energy and faithfulness in prayer, that we may be true to our calling to bring new life to our community. We pray for Catherine that she may be a wise and gentle shepherd of your people, ready to serve us with joy, build us up in faith and to lead us by example in loving obedience to your son Jesus. Amen.
